Hi there Kamiwa,
I`m sorry for being such a pain but does this new version allows to display subtitles with HD mkv files?
Thanks!
Nope, it doesn't! You'll have to wait for Server 1.5. According to rumours it'll offer full MKV support!
Thanks!
I`ve been searching for an answer for quite a long time! It`s better to know that`s not possible that not knowing at all.
Let`s just wait then!
Kamiwa,Awesome. Ironically, I can get everything working on it except for the files I downloaded from DivX's test site (try the terminator trailer). It has to do with the AAC audio. WHen i demuxed and removed the audio and remuxed w/ just the video it was fine. Anyone else have this issue, or do I just need to fiddle with the setting a bit more (using all-in-one posted here).
Forwarded your report to my DivX contacts. Let's wait and see what they'll find!
Kamiwa,a few more things I've found. I cannot get MKV file with Vorbis audio to work, however adding the line that you talked about previously: http://www.kamiwa.de/en/node/28 did the trick. No big deal, but thought maybe you'd want to update it if you wanted to.Also, I cannot get audio only FLAC files to play. I can get them to play with Olywa's config file: http://connunity.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10&postdays=0&postorder=asc&s... (you have to log on to see the attachment). He uses DCBass filter. I'm trying to combine the two, but no luck so far. This is the best config file to date. Just adding my 2 cents :) Almost have support for anything you throw at it.the doc
Hi,
Now that Server 1.5 is out and has mkv support, I tried the srt subtitles in mkv files and... still no luck!
Can you help me?
Thanks!
I feel so humble in this group. In the instructions I read was in order to play VOD I had to register with my Panasonic DVD LS86. I went to the download site, and here I am. The instructions told me to come here to register the code. However, it said to play DivX on my DVD Portable player I had to reister the unit here. I have yet to find the one registration code, and it calls for a second. I am thinking that I must purchase something here, and that doesn't make sense tome, so I downloaded from this site, and I am.
So....I am thinking I am way over my head. Any suggestions for getting this code.
I have the connected 1.5 beta running, but no mkv support whatsoever.
I did install Divx 7 from divx.com and tried it with and without your config file with no success. It says resolution 0x0 and just won't play any mkv files.
edit: sorry, I did install Divx 7 but I never install extras as they are mostly ads and google toolbars, but for this install I did need to install the splitters. Now I installed Divx 7 including all (except the Divx player) options and it works great!
Subs in mkv files still don't work though.
Hi,I used the DivxMuxGui for a day and it worked perfect. Then I restarted and since then I got the above message. I tried to install the program on another PC, but the result is the same. Any idea what could be wrong?Regards,Skipper
which version of divxconnected server are you using here ..1.5? i have been trying to play .mkv with vorbis audio for ages and get a "you may need to install a filter to hear the audio on this file" message when I try and play it with divx player version7 on my PC - although windows media player 11 handles it fine ?? Can you provide a step by step instruction on how you enter the extra codec info into the ffdshow config file please.... If it works, as a thank you, i promise to send you all the hair I have pulled out over the last week or so trying to get this to work ;0)
Dont worry i have got it going now but playback is freezing on 1080p files with Vorbis
